Digital Collection
Newborn Portraits
The studio has a relaxing seating area with essential oil mist and ambient music for you to unwind while I work my magic photographing your baby. There are also plenty of snacks, colouring books and pencils, bottles of water, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate to help yourself to.
My full newborn sessions take between 2-4 hours (plenty of time to allow for soothing, changing, feeding etc). My studio is comfortable, private, and nice & toasty! It is best to dress in layers as the room is perfect for baby, but can get a bit warm for us adults sometimes. Put your feet up and fall asleep if you like (you won't be the first)!
If your baby is sleepy when you arrive to the studio, I will start with the cute and curly poses on the newborn posing table. For this your little one can either be naked, lightly covered with a wrap, or dressed in a romper. I will then move on to any sibling and family portraits if you choose to have them taken, and finally I will swaddle your baby and pose them in 3-4 props. If baby is alert when you arrive to the studio, this order will be reversed as they will likely dirft to sleep when swaddled.
It is best to book a newborn photography session before your baby arrives so we can arrange your session for when they are under 3 weeks old as this is when they’ll be more flexible and less likely to wake up.
Investment
DEPOSIT - £99
This non-refundable fee is to be paid upon booking to secure your provisional session date, and covers studio session time with an experienced photographer as well as use of any outfits, props, or other studio items. This deposit will be taken off your chosen image collection.
MINIMUM SPEND IN THE STUDIO - £299
This can be paid on the day of your session or once you've viewed your images after your session. This £299 can either be used on one of the signature studio image collections or any the studio Al La Carte items.
